LaTeX to MathDox Conversion
From these pages it is possible to input a file in one of three restricted
LaTeX formats, convert it to MathDox and preview the result.
Exercise
An exercise is a single question, with possible
multiple responses. Some of these responses can give hints or ask
sub-questions. It is also possible to ask a question in steps. It is
possible to make exercises that give a lot of hints and suggestions and
that also allow the exercise to be done in small steps. This does usually
involve a lot of work for the author of the exercise.
Tests
A test is a set of exercises with only a question
and a result. Since all exercises are evaluated at the same time it is
not possible to give hints or to have multiple steps in one exercise.
This does make tests easier to create.
Theory
A theory page is a static mathematical test. Since
these are usually written in LaTeX anyway, the main issue here is
restricting to the subset that is supported in the translation.
In the future the list of supported commands might be extended, especially
for commands that have an equivalent in MathDox.
